History

North of here a ways, roundabouts Dravania, there's a little village, between two hillocks, where a small community of Hellsguard settled, to keep an eye on Sohm Al. There, a man and a woman raised seven children. The middle child was named Strange, as she did not resemble her Father at all, and Marigold, for the color of her eyes.
The village is gone now. As with much of Eorzea, it was lost in the Calamity. But the children raised there persist. Marigold spent much of those years, lost, and afraid, and alone. Until she was told there was fortune to make as an adventurer in Eorzea. She decided it was time to clean herself up, and get to work.
This work did not go so well. Ask her about her prosthetic arm!

Personality

On the surface, Marigold is just another face in the crowd. She might be a bit abrasive at times. She swears a lot, takes her coffee black, and her wine red. She likes flowers. She hates reading, and doesn't like to think too hard.Beneath that, is a scared, desperate person, clinging to what little she has managed to coble together in the wake of the Calamity, fearing the day it all falls apart again. But further beneath that is an indomitable strength. A righteous fury. An unstoppable will. If only she knew it was there, what marvelous things she could accomplish.

We Can Do It!

This outfit may make her look smart, but don't be fooled.

OOC

Fairly new to this whole realm, and really not looking for much more than casual RP unless we've interacted a lot. Please no minors, sorry kids. I'm 21+, and I expect anyone interacting with me to be as well. Please. No ERP, please. Whatever you are, Marigold doesn't swing that way. Or any way. Feel free to flatter her, but don't expect to get much farther than that.I'm sure it goes with out saying but I am not my character, and her views and personality are not necessarily in line with my own. Please don't murder my character. That would ruin my fun. Or at least ask before you do, it's common courtesy.
